Porridge Papers is a small team of fun, quirky, and hardworking creatives who make beautiful handcrafted paper. We’re looking for dependable people to help us keep up with all the paper we have to make!

No papermaking experience is required—we will provide the training you need. This is a straightforward, hands-on production job with consistent responsibilities and clear expectations.

This is a highly repetitive and physically demanding production job. You will spend most of the day standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working with your hands. You will also work around water and in both wet and dry environments.

What Will You Do?

Make beautiful handcrafted paper, of course! As a Paper Maker, you will participate in the hands-on production process used to create our unique paper products.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing repetitive papermaking and production tasks
• Operating papermaking equipment after completing training
• Following established production and safety procedures
• Checking paper products for quality and consistency
• Packing and preparing finished paper products
• Standing and walking for most of the workday
• Bending, climbing, lifting, and moving materials as needed
• Working with your hands in wet, damp, and dry environments
• Maintaining a steady and productive work pace
• Keeping your work area clean, safe, and organized
• Working independently while supporting the production team

Pay and Benefits

• Starting pay of $15.50 per hour
